BREEZY CLASSIC
If I were challenged to define my style, the more accurate term would be eclectic, or whimsical, in a range that goes from high-fashion to minimalism. However, when circumstances call me to flaunt the most favorable version of myself, I go without hesitation for a return to the classics. Guess that something similar happens in the current maelstrom of volatile influences and tendencies, which in their skimming flight tousle not only fashion creative heads, but also confuse ours, innocent buyers of various ranks. Then, for many of us, comes the opportunity to take forgotten treasures out of the old family closet.
I got this dress from a random a store in Buenos Aires several years ago, and it remains one of my favorites because of its particular open back, its flattering shape and nice cut. Paired with my mother's vintage raffia and tortoiseshell purse, it's a simple and easy outfit to look presentable when the heat and humidity overwhelm, hindering the glamour.
The wedges are from Charles Jourdan.
