Built in 1896 by Henry Flagler, the luxury Atlantic oceanfront hotel is one of the few still under the same family's ownership, the descendants of the founder. The sumptuous structure we see today was created in the Italian Renaissance-style, inspired by the splendid Italian villas of yesteryear.

Staying true to the resort’s heritage, its fascinating works of art and architecture offer a nostalgic glimpse into the past, in the grandiose scale corresponding to a palace iconic of the old American glam.
