EN MISIONES

Rara vez me aventuro a llevar un look bohemio total, primero porque en general no cuadra con mi personalidad más clásica. Me desalienta también el grado de saturación y distorsión que afectó al estilo, especialmente en ciudades como la mía, donde a menudo el afán colectivo de algunos por lucir como espíritus libres los convierte en estereotipos más desaliñados que estilosos.

Al margen de eso, suele merodear en mi apariencia uno que otro elemento de bohème. Casi siempre se trata de mi pelo, algo despeinado, o un accesorio. Sin embargo, el pasado Noviembre, el entorno selvático de la provincia de Misiones me brindó la ocasión perfecta de tener un momento bohemio, inspirado tal vez, por adeptas del estilo como Cher, Marisa Berenson y Anita Pallenberg, en sus buenos tiempos.

La falda y la blusa son de MVZ, conseguí el cinto en una tienda al azar y las sandalias son Charles Jourdan.

IN MISIONES

I rarely venture to bring a full-on bohemian look, first, because in general it does not fit my more classical personality. It also discourages me the degree of saturation and distortion that affected the style, especially in cities like mine, where often the collective desire of some to look like free spirits makes them into stereotypes more sloppy than stylish.

Beyond that, usually lurks in my appearance the odd element de bohème. Almost always it is my hair, a bit disheveled, or an accessory. However, last November, the jungle environment of the province of Misiones gave me the perfect chance to have a bohemian moment, inspired perhaps, by the style devotees as Cher, Marisa Berenson and Anita Pallenberg, on their heyday.
The skirt and blouse are from MVZ, I got the belt from a random store, and the wedges are Charles Jourdan.

LACOSTE, EL COLOR Y EL PAISAJE

Lo que quedó del verano. No sólo este trayecto en plena quebrada del Norte Argentino nos guío por marcos ideales para presentar mi conjunto elegido para Lacoste, sino que también sonaba divertido recalcar el carácter deportivo de la marca, jugando con dos de mis pasiones: el golf y los caballos. Escenario fueron otra vez las Salinas Grandes -aquí, en una islita casual en medio del espejo de agua- y luego, el Paseo de los Colorados en Purmamarca. Ahora, me encantaría saber cuáles son esas actividades que más les divierten a ustedes!

LACOSTE, COLOR AND LANDSCAPE

What remained of the summer. Not only this ride through Northern Argentina's ravines provided us with the ideal frameworks for presenting my chosen outfit for Lacoste, but it also sounded like fun highlighting the sporty character of the brand, by playing with two of my passions: golf and horses. Stage were again the Salinas Grandes -here, on an accidental little island in the middle of the water mirror- and then, the Paseo de los Colorados in Purmamarca. Now, I'd love to know what are those activities that entertain you most!

Una de las mayores depresiones de la provincia de Jujuy, las Salinas Grandes abarcan 212 km² de puna del NOA, alcanzando parte de la provincia de Salta. La cuenca de este salar, originado hace más de 5 millones de años, se cubrió de aguas provenientes de actividad volcánica, cuya gradual evaporación generó esta planicie ubicada a una altitud promedio de 3450 msnm.

One of the greatest depressions in the province of Jujuy, the Salinas Grandes (Big Salar) cover 212 km ² of puna of Northwest Argentina, reaching part of the province of Salta. The basin of this salar, which was originated more than 5 million years ago, was covered with water from volcanic activity, whose gradual evaporation generated this plain located at an average altitude of 3450 meters.

Amateur o profesional, cualquier fotógrafo avezado recibe la invitación de este desierto salino a testear la creatividad, dadas su inmensidad y la perspectiva que ofrece el horizonte contra los cerros. Otro juego posible es el contraste cromático frente al blanco incandescente. ¡Qué mejor ocasión entonces para apostar a una de mis duplas favoritas: naranja y azúl marino -esta vez con un toque verde- y llevarles estas imágenes! De acuerdo, habrá quien que se rasque la cabeza, pensando quizás, "¿Tanto arreglo y ¡stilettos! para pasear por una ruta de tránsito pesado en medio de las salinas? ¿En serio?" Pero ustedes son más listos y ya saben de qué va un blog de estilo: una dósis de fantasía de cara al agobio de la realidad.

What better time then to bet on one of my favorite duos: orange and navy blue, this time with a green touch and bring these images! Okay, should this make one scratch his head, thinking perhaps, "All that dressing-up to walk down a path of heavy traffic in the middle of the salt flats? Seriously?"
